    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming means being unfair and using godly power against other players.

Markus was born in Varhelm, Norland. His parents died when he was 14 in a fire that burned their house. But he managed to stay positive and continue on with his life. He got a job so he could pay the taxes for his house. He wrote books which he wants to publish and have a good relationship with other people. In his mid 20's he joined the Ashguard and served for a couple of years. Now he wants to see the world and its beauty and destroy the depressive state that he's been in for the last ten years. This is Markus's story so far, who knows what will happen next.
