Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Well-" They begin, cutting away from the woman's gaze before meeting them once more. The blonde brushing away any dirt from their coat before taking a seat. "I'm looking for my father— at least .. whatever might be left of him." They sigh, returning their gaze to the elderly woman ahead of them, before resting a cheek on their palm. "Do not misunderstand I hold no love for him—" She huffs, "Loathsome oath preferred a life in Haelun'or over one with his own wife— my mother .. gods bless her soul."
They smiled— "His will rests on his corpse, and as soon as I find it I'm set for life—" They rapidly explain, leaning forward. "Unlimited knowledge— all the time in the world for travel .. gods.." Smile wide, they lean back before going quiet.
"Perhaps I got a little carried away— anyway .." They tilted their head to the side, studying her. "Why might a woman like you be in a place like this ..?"
