Harwen Juggson was the the fifth and youngest child of Jugg Sigson and Girhild Derdotor, coming into this world in the far northern reaches of Norland. Harwen never knew a hungry day, always having parents and siblings to support him. Extremely sociable among his peers, he enjoyed many care-free days, becoming the best of friends with all of his siblings. Except for helping his father set up traps, and occasionally helping him track larger game, Harwen did not spend much time contributing to his families hunting business. Despite his lack of contribution Harwen always felt loved and welcomed by his family. Harwen enjoyed his relative life of leisure until his 12th nameday, when his uncle Duran Sigson decided to take him back to Varhelm where he lived "to make a man out of him yet!". Whenever Duran wasn't on duty with the Northgaurd he would drill Harwen relentlessly in traditional Norlandic combat and the tenets of the Red Faith, never relenting in his negative comments about Harwen's incompetence and how he was a drain on his family, society and his "unworthiness". Harwen midway through his 17th year having a thoroughly miserable time with his uncle ran away from his home in Varhelm. Harwen spent much of this time going hungry and begging on the streets of Varhelm doing odd jobs here and there for whatever he could get. Harwen made few acquaintances during this time, most of them being of a seedy character. It wasn't until Harwen had all of his possessions stolen by his apparent friend Dinge "the rat", that Harwen decided to make something of himself and decide to look for a calling in life and to hopefully find a new family that would take him in.
*Harwen directs a big smile towards the man and stands a little taller "Aye! all of those sound agreeable to me." *He'd say, as his gaze drifts over the wide variety of shops in the bazaar, giving a whistle. "But where to start! Do you think good sir that you could point me in the direction of where I could find work in this city?" *Harwen raises an eyebrow towards the gentlemen, his eyes focusing on the gentleman's garments.
