    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use a piece of information that you have received in RL with the character you are playing, even though the character does not/can not know anything about it in the game.This can give Meta Gaming an unfair advantage over other players.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you use your character to force decisions on other people without them being able to do anything about it.This refers to unrealistic actions, or actions that affect/harm other characters without the consent of their owners.Therefore, one should always discuss "difficult decisions" with the other person in advance or give the other person a chance to avoid one's own action.

Mack looks at the man sceptically. He didn't want to be unfriendly to the first person he met here in his new life, but he couldn't stand people who were so direct even though he didn't know them.

The man seemed wealthy, I wonder if he was also a trader? Or was he someone who wanted to lure people who were new to the country with offers and promises?

He decided to be friendly for the time being and to get as much use out of the conversation as possible. "First of all, I need something to drink," he replied to the man with a smile.
