Castys was born into a dull life, doing odd jobs across the empire. Travelling from the great kingdom of haense, to the commonwealth of Kaedren. Things changed however, with the AIS and the empire declaring war. The roads were no longer safe, with the road patrols all diverted to the front lines bandits became a serious issue. Unfortunately while on his way to the Imperial capital of Helena, he was ambushed. Robbed of all his possessions and given a few souvenirs in the form of two scars, one across his abdomen and another on the bridge of his nose. With nothing but the clothes on his back and a motive to regain what he lost, joining the volunteer corps of the ISA during the battle for Reza seemed fitting. He fought valiantly against the AIS invaders and in the end, along with his imperial clansmen, they held the fair city... just barely. There were no true victors at that battle, many lives were lost and neither backed down. Castys was lucky to get out of that battle without... physical... injury. His time in the army traumatized him to say the least, he fears that at any moment a morsgradian brigand will slit his throat in his sleep, or when walking down an empty street. Yet he still lives on. Day by day, wandering the streets. Never really settling down.
*As this man is approaching me I would reach out a hand offering a handshake*
“Ah my friend! Thank you for the warm welcome. I am visiting this city to find my place in the world whether that be a high ranking soldier, or a willing mercenary.”
*I point out to the many shops*
“Now do you own one of these many stalls? perhaps if you are willing, I’d be happy to help for a days wage. If not i’m afraid I mus be off”
*I wave goodbye to the man and begin to make my way through the market to see if any stores catch my eye*
