    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Having knowledge of information that your character has not and using it like your character knowledge. For example, your character actually know where a secret stash is because you saw a discussion on Discord about it.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Surpassing your characters abilities and the common sense, basically. An example: engaging in a RP fight with someone, and making the reaction to your attack impossible to perform.

Zeiss Drilandil, son of Udur Drilandil, is an outcast. Born in 1607, at the Dominion of Malin, Zeiss was a Mali'Ker like every other Dark Elf. Born on a family of famous painters, Zeiss saw himself as one without the gift, the talent that everyone inside the family had. His incapability and, later, refusal to agree or stick up to the families standards created a severe rift between him and the rest of the family. 

 

In the year of 1640, subsequent earthquakes killed many members of the Drilandil family while travelling, including Zeiss's father, Udur and his grandfather, Ziril. The biggest figures of tradition, family and respect (according to Zeiss itself) were dead, and he saw himself lost, not capable to understand the world without the path carved by his family, despite the constant fights he had with them. The following year Zeiss joined the migration to Atlas, moving away from the rest of  his family and setting out on his own path, trying to find meaning in life and seeking answers to difficult questions envolving religion and hatred.

 

Zeiss lives as a wanderer nowadays, depending on the kindness of strangers and the wilderness.

Physical Description: You see a Dark Elf with short hair, violet eyes and a gray skin with tones of blue. He is 1.80 meters tall and weighs 55kg.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
