    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is a player using their own knowledge in a character that would not know the knowledge. For example, let's say a player knows that a friend is about to betray him and proceeds to kill his friend first because of this knowledge. That would be metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is carrying out unrealistic actions or unfair actions that a player character would not be able to do. For example, lets say I'm in combat and say "Vale swings and cuts off Drew's head.". That would be powergaming because I forced an unfair action onto another player's character.
