Despite the comfort, Juno always felt more connected to the markets and the people, drawn to the idea of building something meaningful with their own hands. They met James through their families, and the two bonded quickly, sharing a desire for a life with more purpose than titles or impressing nobles. After their marriage, they left the crowded city behind and traveled deeper into the Heartlands, searching for a place to start fresh.
