    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you do actions that leave the correspondant player no choice. For example if I *Twinkle stabs Sprinkle in the heart, killing them immediately. The other player must have a choice, for what happens.

In the summer of 96' Rosalin Mercury gave birth to Twinkle Star Padrovitch, with her husband, Gregorovitch Padrovitch, by her side. The birth was long and exhausting for Rosalin, but it had been her dream to conceive a child. The birth took a hard hit on her health, but with the help of the local potion maker, she recovered slowly.

Twinkle was everything they wanted. She had golden locks, ocean blue eyes, skin like glistening snow and a spirit as wild as the wind. Nothing could stop her from exploring the depths and secrets of the forest, and no-one wanted to stand in her way. She was beautiful as a rose, but if you angered her, the devil would rise inside her. It was rare that Twinkle would become angry, since she was so light hearted and almost nothing could disturb her from her own little world she was living in. 

 

When Twinkle was seven, she went a little too far into the forest, encountering a group shaggy looking Goblins, who had wandered a bit to far beyond their own borders. Luckily for her, the goblins were just as terrified to see her, as she was them.  

 

She was a bright kid in school, getting good grades all throughout her time in school. Everyone liked Twinkle, how could you not. She was sweet and nice, always cared for everyone she encountered and could always find time to help. As she grew older, she found interest in herbology and astrology, wanting to pursue a career as a herbologist.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
