    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta-gaming is using OOC knowledge, in-character, usually for self-gain.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power-gaming is poor roleplaying, such as making your character more powerful than they should be, or otherwise acting godly.

Lexandria awkwardly attempts a curtsy, "Sir, um, hello," she stutters. "I-I am here for adventure, of course. My life so far has not been filled with much of it..." She looks around at the sprawling bazaar and its many merchants with a skeptical squint. Perhaps it was the wrong choice to come here, she thought. Her dark grey eyes made their way back to gentleman who greeted her, "You have very fancy clothes, sir. Are you a noble? I'm not much interested in nobility, but maybe if you are, you can show me where I can sign up for work... uh, sir."
