    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Roleplaying in such a way that one removes autonomy from other players. I.E.- telling other players how their character is affected.

Thea is a hardworking, stubborn person. Her parents raised her well and she was not coddled. Thea is from Laurelin, the land of the Noble, her parents are still there. She was a craftsmen specializing in glass work like her mother. Her work was good and she enjoyed it but it did not fulfill her. Thea wished to work with more materials, she wanted to challenge herself. She wanted to explore the possibilities of sculpture and function. So she has left Laurelin in search of new supplies.

Character Race: Wood Elf
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 60
Physical Description: Thea is of normal height for a wood elf, standing at 4.5' tall. Hair is black. Skin is dark tan. Eyes are hazel (red, green, blue). Body is muscular.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

-Your character is extremely short for their race! 4'5" is a rather unusual height for a wood elf. They would normally be taller unless affected by a genetic defect. I'd recommend changing your height to something more common for wood elves, which is somewhere within the 5-6 foot range.

-I'd recommend making another reference to the lore in your biography, as Laurelin has not been around for hundreds of years.

I consulted a lore moderator and it turns out your height actually is fine, so I apologize for that discrepancy. However, you still should make another reference to the lore with a more up-to-date city or event, as Laurelin has not been around for hundreds of years.
