    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information from outside sources to aid your character when they otherwise wouldn't have learned about it. While the player may know how a certain aspect of the game/world works there is no way the character should know about it. If the player uses it to the character's advantage it would be metagaming and unfair to other people following the rules and fully roleplaying.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is making your character do something unrealistic and unfair while roleplaying. Powergaming is making your character carry out an unrealistic action that they should be unable to do.
