    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I believe metagaming is just not staying in character or doing something that doesn't go along with lore/storylines.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is basically just trying to control absolutely everything and being like a god.

Well first I would politely greet the man, I would tell him my aspirations. I would say, "My goals are to create peace and diversity throughout all the lands, no matter ones race." I would then go and explore, asking for some help to get myself started in a new land.
