Since a young age, Lucette has known the battlefield. She was used as a tool in the military from the young age of 6. She was trained to kill, using her advantage as a child to distract the enemy. Her parents were teenagers at the time that were not ready to handle the responsibilities of a parent, so they abandoned their daughter at 5 on the cold streets. The other orphans took care of Lucette until a strange man picked her up, which lead to her life in the military.
She killed her first person at the age of 7, it was an accident during training, nonetheless, every life she took after that numbed her until she felt nothing. It's unclear how many she killed. She was discharged from the military at the age of 18, being thrown out as she was no longer a child, and she wasn't under their custody anymore as an adult. Lucette lost a lot of her memories from the battlefield, perhaps her mind has blocked out the awful memories. She knows she killed, but doesn't remember much else.
Although her childhood mostly consisted of training, she still got her basic education done. Lucette is a smart girl, but not very knowledgeable of normal civilian life. She will be travelling around The Realm of Almaris as she searches for something to keep herself busy with, visiting the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska first. 
Lucette walks into the city, gazing at the high walls, the decorations and anything that caught her eye. She halts, looking up at the mysterious man that had stopped her. Unsure of how to properly respond, she clasps her hands at her sides, giving a quick bow to him in greeting. "Hello, Sir." She began, pausing for a moment to think. "I...I don't know yet." Lucette cranes her neck to make eye contact with the man as she speaks, no expression visible on her face.
"Not a problem! Come, I'll show you around then! My name is Ulfric." He walks on ahead, going deeper into the heart of the city.
Lucette follows Ulfric, trying to match his pace. "Lucette." She briefly introduces herself, turning her head now and then to watch the man. Lucette tried to evaluate him. 'What were his intentions?' She kept wondering to herself. For the rest of the day, Ulfric shows Lucette around the city, visiting market stalls, the tavern and so on.
