Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
~A figure in a heavy, dark cloak with deep purple accents on the inside, would turn his attention towards the Hag and a grin would form on his lips, and he would take down his hood and reveal his shoulder length white silvery hair, and his purple eyes would observe the tent as he moves to sit down, revealing a black half plate with a deep red tunic beneath it, black breeches, and black boots. As he sits in front of the Hag, he would take his weapons, and put them on the ground besides him, as he feel they wouldn't be needed at this point in time, and then starts speaking with a slightly rough voice~ "My name is Haerion Khamul" ~He'd say with a smile~ "And I am traveling the world, exploring and learning new things. I knew from a young age that I wanted to go out and see the world, and learn about it for what it is." ~He would smile wistfully for a moment~ "In the home of my people, we're somewhat isolated from the wider world, and I wanted to know what's out there." ~He would look up with a smile on his face, then he would turn his attention back to the hag~ "I began preparing for this many years ago, learning how to survive in the wilds, how to hunt and skin animals, cooking the meat, and conserving it the best way possible. And of course, how to fight, so I wouldn't be defenseless, both with various weapons, as well as a bit of magic." ~He would take a breath as he pauses for a moment~ "I, however took a heavy interest in smithing, the process of taking ores and turning them into fuctional tools, is something that I enjoy, even though it is hard work, but then I don't have many issues with finding work if I need money or a place to stay." ~Gestures to his weapons, which includes two well made daggers, a bastardsword, a decent looking longbow with a full quiver, and what looks to be smithing tools~ "I've made those myself, and I don't mind bartering my skills to a smith for shelter and coin for a few days. It's hard, but honest work, and I enjoy it, and I meet a lot of new people and hear a lot of different interesting things about cultures" ~He would look at the Hag with a grin on his face, his purple eyes looking directly at her~
