    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: talk to admin or mod
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming is largely a traditional gamestyle issue. Narrative storytelling/story games are usually all about the metagaming aspects brought to the forefront.
    The issue isn't with metagaming itself, but rather how it affects play.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until “uh.. i was looking for my dad”.. i stare into your eyes “i’m.. I’M A SWAMP MONSTER LEGACY..) i startle you 

“s-sorry for yelling..”

- When talking about your character’s actions, remember to use 3rd person. This means typing "He / him / his", "She / her / hers" or "They / them / theirs".

 

- Your skin isn’t server appropriate, it is too modern for our medieval fantasy setting (cigarette behind the ear / sweatpants / shoes). If you can’t find a new skin, please take a look at our skin archive:
