Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: The swampy aroma fills my nose, my eyes darting around the tent. My mind is at a loss, taking in the new environment, till my gaze reaches the lady in front of me.--"Who are you?" I look at the cushion she gestured at, and with a wary mind, I take a seat, not taking my eyes off hers. The air feels thick, thick enough to make my mind foggy. "Story?...I-I don't know what you mean? Before we continue to speak, could I at least be aware of whom I'm speaking to?" I say fidgeting with my hands as I peek outside the tent with the corner of my eye.
