In the Battle of Vjorhelm, in 1641, Linnaea Ash’s ancestor’s family was brutally murdered, filling the ancestor with vengeance. That ancestor traveled to Bastion and became the first assassin in Linnaea’s family line. Throughout the century, her family moved to Sutica. Linnaea Ash was born in 1741 and has trained in etiquette and espionage her entire life. Her parents kept her on a tight leash, so she never had any friends or family her age. When she was 16, she was finally allowed to go on missions on her own. The etiquette helped her because no one believed and innocent, sweet, stupid woman could do anything brutal. She slowly gained skill and fame in Sutica, and it became dangerous for her to exist in Sutica with her family. Her parents decided that it was time for her to find her own way in life, and she was permitted to go to a city of her choosing. She was ecstatic and left right away because she wanted to get away from the abuse and judgement of her parents. She doesn’t care where she goes, just as long as its far away from her parents.

Linnaea pondered his question for a moment. “I have come to this city looking for a path that I can go on to live the most prosperous life possible. In other words, I’m here to kill people,” she replied with a crooked grin. She cackled as the poor man hurried away, and took her first steps toward her new future.
