    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the basically a form of cheating, where a player uses platforms outside of the game in order to gain an advantage over another player.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is another form of cheating where a player forces an issue or an action through the use of the chat space. It is basically lying, where a player states that he did something when in fact the action was not carried out.

Read the scenario below this box and type out inside of this box how your character might respond. Your response must be at least four sentences long and include at least one action and at least one piece of dialogue surrounded by quotes.

 

"All three, I guess, fine sir. Now, do you have any idea where I may find a tavern. I am in desperate need of drink, stories, and probably some information.” Upon hearing a no, I would get back on my boat and move on. Now upon hearing a yes I would walk to the tavern, maybe pick up some fashionable little trinket at one of the shops along the way, enter the tavern, and buy myself a drink and some mushroom soap.  Seeing someone in the tavern I would strike a conversation with the fellow to learn his story and maybe an adventure I could take part in. Being a wanderer, I would stay the night at the city and then be on my way.
