    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta-gaming is when the character ingame has the information that was never given to them
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: I call these overpowerd characters, I have one of these for jokes but the meaning is when one person gives themselves invincibility and could never be beaten

You’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?”

Jasper tilted his head to the man and put a hand on the hilt of his sheathed blade, his expression showing confusion and he responded with his usual voice ‘ ‘Adventure. I have no need for wealth. It’s a pleasure to meet you then, kind sir’ ‘
Jasper held his left hand out to shake this man’s hand in greetings.

Character Gender: Male
Character Age: 23
Physical Description: 5'11'', short fluffy white to blonde hair, freckled brown skin, emerald eyes, brown coat and blue leather pants, he wears boots of leather with steel

  • I’d recommend re-reading the definitions of both Meta-gaming and Power-gaming. Both of your definitions seem to be quite vague so, make sure to apply your knowledge more efficiently and try to add some examples that could be representing each.
  • Your Character Biography seems to have an okay story-line, however, It lacking with regards to relevant information from LotC- It does not seem to include the mandatory (1) lore piece from the LotC Wiki. This could include, city names, religions, et cetera.
  • Your Character Skin does not fit the appropriate racial features for a Snow Elf- I would recommend you to actually check the LotC Wiki for what is needed to be changed.

Sorry! Be that as it may, your application has been denied because the 24 hour period has ended and because you didn’t follow the changes I had given once you were placed under pending. However, you are allowed to reapply immediately as long as you follow the required changes while doing so.
