Hey there! Thank you for your interest in Lord of the Craft--unfortunately your application has been denied. However, you are more than welcome to reapply after you make the following changes to your application! If you’ve any questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact me. I respond quickest at my Discord (S.D. Ace#0017) though you are also able to message me here on the forums if you do not mind the slower response times.

 

First off, Lord of the Craft handles emotes and character dialogue differently than regular Minecraft. Don’t worry about the formatting in your application too much, just so long as we can tell what’s an action and what’s dialogue in your roleplay scenario and/or examples.

As well, your metagaming and powergaming descriptions are on the right track, but need some adjustments. You can visit the wiki page on Metagaming & Powergaming for more info that can help you write your application!

Since you seem to not be aware, Lord of the Craft is a fantasy setting with its own unique lore, lots of which is not found anywhere else! As such we ask that your application works well with the lore and story of LotC. You can check out the wiki, which is a great source of knowledge, or join the New Player Discord to ask staff and other players for help. Specifically, your skin, character name, roleplay scenario, and character biography must be changed.
Similar to my previous point, your character skin must have better shading and fit within a fantasy setting. You are welcome to pick out a pretty-looking skin from the Skin Archives, curated by the Community Team!

Finally, you must include at least 2 references to Lord of the Craft’s lore in your character’s biography. This can be nearly anything that has happened/exists on the server--events (for example the War of Two Emperors), cultures (for example the dark elves of Asimu’lei have a vastly different culture than the halflings of Brandybrook), or really anything you can think of that exists!

 

I know that this is a lot of changes to ask for, but unfortunately it’s how Lord of the Craft operates.
