Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"sure lady, would love to tell ye, but you gotta tell me who you are next" *he says before proceeding to settle down* "Ever since i we're a wee lil babe, me and my family we're not aligned with any clan, we lived in a small but cozy mine, or more of a hole, anyway! Said mine had a small field with various crops in front of it. I grew up there until I was around 39, I have always hated bein' basic, and my 39 birthday was the time I decided that I wasn't gonna endure it anymore, so I decided to inform my family about the fact that I'll be leavin' as soon as the sun rises tomorrow, believe me, I didn't want to leave them, but I had to do something significant in my life, I had to become a legend folk all around the world will be talkin' bout'. Despite my families cries and shouts for me to stay, I have already made my decision, I packed me valuables and left the next mornin' me heart was aching for months after I left, but my journey to greatness had to be completed, I ain't no puny little human, to just give up like that. So, after wanderin' for a year and a half, with no results, I decided I must find a permanent home, I needed a new plan, and then I decided that no longer will I achieve greatness by defeating a great foe, I will either: find a never before seen ore, and get famous because of that, or I'll become the richest dwarf on the end, by selling the materials that I do find, some might say it's a bit ambitious, but I'd say I'm enthusiastic. And basically, that's how I ended up in here, it's just because I'm yet to find a forever home. So now's your turn! Why were you waiting for me, and who are you?" *he said before silencing himself, eager to hear about whom the stranger might be, and what have they experienced*
