    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Well, I gotta say metagaming is a very interesting thing. Its literally using your knowledge to help decide how your actions will impact the role play game, and your story.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is making your character or entity have less flaws and seem more structurally powerfull in the game.

Lets say he found a wondering boy lost in the streets, begging for food. He would gaze upon the boy fiercely, and silently give him a small supply of food without talking, and walk away. But lets say his son was being kidnapped by a boy, he would mercilessly kill that boy without compassion.

  • Dreere/Island of the Gods are not places that exists in LoTC lore, so please make sure to edit this part of your Character Biography!

  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response should include at least one piece of dialogue. Please be sure to add one!

  • Please make sure to respond to the roleplay prompt given.

  • The nine realms do not exist in LoTC lore, so make sure to edit this part of your Character Fear Response.

  • Your character must be original and cannot be a pre-existing character from a game, movie, book, etc. 

  • Your Skin is not up to LotC standards. Please take a look at our Skin Archive for references and free skins that you may use if you’d like.

 

For clarification, we ask that players provide a metagaming and powergaming definition so that we can confirm that new players know what kind of behavior to avoid in roleplay on the server!
