    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: If someone reads about a topic, such as magic on this wiki, and their in-character person in Minecraft immediately knows what magic is, that is called metagaming. It is basically the intake and knowledge of information unobtained through in-game means. Instead, the knowledge was obtained outside of the game. There is nothing wrong with reading about a topic that interests you, but to ignore the server guidelines and start roleplaying with that knowledge before it has been taught to you is wrong.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is a term for actions that are unrealistic, unfair, overpowered, or godlike. This is completely unfair to the other participants on any gaming platform. No one enjoys being with someone who can one-shot kill them without having manifested or "trained" for that action.
