    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: When game information outside of what is available in a game is used to give a player an advantage in-game. Most commonly seen and frowned upon in many forms of role playing especially when consent has not been given.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming, consists in achieving end game results (getting the highest and most favorable output possible), ignoring everything else that constitutes the game as a whole. Another way to put it in words, would be taking shortcuts in the game in a counter-intuitive way.

Rose just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?"  " I have come to find my perfect suitor, my parents are quite picky and if I don't find the perfect suitor my future is at risk!"  replied Rose. "How so ?"  asked the man. "If  I don't find 'THE ONE' I'll be lucky to even be beheaded, you don't want to know sir!"  muttered Rose "Oh my.. if you say so.."
