    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use the knowledge that your character doesn't yet know. So like if someone said something about needing help to attack an enemy but your roleplay character wasn't near them so he wouldn't know and you ended up going to help to attack.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is when you take away the other person's control. This would mean anything to OP and taking away the chance for the other person to roleplay, so say like "Alex stole his Money* The baker wouldn't be able to attempt to catch him now if he said Alex attempted to steal the Money In that situation it would be more reasonable and be a possibility.

Upon Seririm's way onto land he smiled content with the city. He greeted the man warmly "Hello my friend" he and the man talked of the city. Seririm told him of how he came from Elvennese and would be staying a while. They conversed longer and the man told Seririm of the great wonders of the city. Seririm and the man would make there way to a tavern were they would sit and laugh for a while enjoying themselves. And Seririm stated " he hadn't been so open to someone that wasn't a family member in a long time" the man and Seririm stated there longer and talked of his pained backstory. Seririm likes the history of his people he is proud of the way they held themselves to such high standards. This is because he enjoys the fact that they were such great people and helped others.
