    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta-gaming is the recreation your character in to possibly Banned or unfair characteristics that don't really follow your characters story. Say you are a Adunain fighting a war, and all you know how to do is fight with a sword. But Your sword breaks and instead of looking for a new one you find a mages staff and quickly look at the LotC wiki and slay the opposing army with you new-found wizardry.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power-gaming is the giving of unrealistic and unfair attributes to your character to aid yourself and or other people. Its like saying your a regular elf but then suddenly you "Say" you have a ring that can turn you into a dragon, when you are going to die.

Ø Its impossible to explain this in a short way, but wars are handled via roleplay mostly and the events that Player-Nations choose to peruse. To win a war, typically one side will have to siege the others city, or meet them in a field battle, until they're conquered or one side surrenders. Rules can be dynamic based on what the leaders of each nations have agreed on, so each war can be a tad different. Cities are often during wars, where a small band of people rally and attack the city.

Ø Your biography a sufficient lore references (Settlement names, creature names (creatures that are unique to LOTC not your generic dragon or trolls), other major events that are explained in depth), however races, and continents, nations names and vaguely conveyed facts are not sufficient lore reasons. Make sure these match up with your age and the current server year of 1822 (Year 26 of the Second Age). Some places you can look for references are, you can also PM (If you want Andunian stuff, I know our wiki is pretty good on that stuff) on disc and I can help find more than the listed here:
