    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: You yourself know something but your rp character doesnt know but you still use that to your advantage. Hard to explain but that's what it is.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: An example would be, being shot 90 times with a bow and saying you're still alive. Or going on a murder spree being unkillable or something like that.

Lantardor Bloodthane had a troubled childhood. When he was born on the tip of a mountain, his parents were slaughtered by a group of nomads. Most of his civilization survived including his twin brother. Lantardor and his brother, Skomren never liked being under law in their town. They decided that they wanted to leave and so they did. They took all of the towns gold and strolled out of the town. On their way down the mountain with bags of gold, Skomren saw 2 dark elves walking around the mountain. Skomren and Lantardor always fought people that were in their way. Skomren, being a drunk ruthless man, went to eliminate the elves with his hand-crafted axe. The 2 dark elves quickly shot him down with multiple arrows. Lantardor took cover and waited till he heard the dark elves ride off on their horses. He ran straight to his brothers corpse. He cried. A few tears ran down his face. He swore to avenge his brother. He took his brothers axe to remember him. Lantardor now uses his brothers axe in battle.

Character Age: 54
Physical Description: 4'6. Scary and ruthless. Big beard with food crumbs in it. Drinking beer as usual.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
