You’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?” 
How do you respond?
I send the man a short smile, and hesitate, before replying. “Well. Hello...I’ve simply come to visit an old friend of mine,” I lie. I prefer to not open up to strangers i barely know. “Although I may stay a bit longer than intended, as I may grow to enjoy the people here. What is your name?” I decide to keep the conversation going, as I may need to know people around here if I do grow to like it.

Character Age: 52
Physical Description: Malyra would be a snow elf standing at just 5'3. She'd have a slim yet slightly curvy build. She'd have lightish brown eyes, and long silky blue hair.
