Reymond was born to a minor Auvergnian artisan and seamstress in 1746, in the City of Owynsburg, under Kaedrin. He grew up fairly spoiled by his moderately wealthy parents, who were making increasingly more money off of selling cloth to the Imperial State Army for their banners. Reymond found himself rarely leaving the Commonwealth’s borders, declining to learn his father’s rewarding but difficult trade and refusing to complete his errands, even by the time he had reached the dependable age of 15 and was almost a man. At 19, his father became suddenly ill, and in a rush Reymond tried to learn the trade from him under threat of disownment. For a few months, with the looming threat of his father’s death, he worked very intensely to learn and succeed his father. And then, abruptly, his father passed. Thinking he had failed, Reymond became despondent and depressed, right until his father’s will revealed his father had been sitting on a huge pension gifted by the ISA and that Reymond was in fact rich. Suddenly uncaring, Reymond spent the next years of his life lavishly spending and even now travels, spending and spending hedonistically with no regard for himself.
