    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Even if we play a medieval fantasy actions adhere to some degree of realism, powergaming in any rp gaming is disruptive becasue it creates the narritive that you character is special and therefore others may feel that their are playing a minimal role in the setting. Also it distrupts the lore of the setting since all players must agree that such actions are even canon.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Well as we all know rp isnt about winning. Its about making memorable stories and so the winning mentality isnt focused but just something inate in all of us. we should strive to stray from it and not cheat like in the metagaming example so the actual point of this server isnt lost. Cause at the end of the day metagaming in one way or another is cheating as far as rp is concerned.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Well clearly I am at an unkown location and so at a disadvantage. My character is a young elf with not so much experiance in the art of war or first encounters in that matter so he could play it out like so: "And i have long waited to meet you my lady,I am Ruith Xiltherios and shall not lie, my travels havent treated me very kindly but as soon as i learned (perhaps) of your abilites I thought I would be a fool to pass on the opportunity to learn from you, may you please accept this gift from me (give her anything at hand) and welcome me for a cup of tea" That way my character could at the same time seem freindly and not friable (since appartently he isnt lost).

Physical Description: Ruith is wearing black shirt and pants with brow shoes and belts to match them. His hair long and white with dark blue eyes. skinny build, 6ft5"

Hi there! As you can see, your app is almost ready! Just a few changes you need to make, but don’t worry - you are doing great!

  • It looks like your minecraft name is misspelled or not a Java account! Please provide the corrected username! You should be able to find it by going into a single player world by hitting tab or typing in chat!
  • Your Physical Description needs a bit more detail!  If you’re lost on what to add, height, eye color, hair color, hair length, what they might wear, etc. are all good.
  • Please make sure to include at least six sentences! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Ect.
  • Please remember to include backstory in the Back story & Roleplay Scenario! Even if your persona doesn’t talk about it
  • Please make sure to use actions in your backstory/roleplay scenario. This is just to ensure we know what you are doing!
  • When talking about your character’s actions! Remember to use 3rd person!

  • Your skin isn’t server appropriate. Might we be able to interest you in a skin from our skin archive?
