You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Well clearly I am at an unkown location and so at a disadvantage. My character is a young elf with not so much experiance in the art of war or first encounters in that matter so he could play it out like so: "And i have long waited to meet you my lady,I am Ruith Xiltherios and shall not lie, my travels havent treated me very kindly but as soon as i learned (perhaps) of your abilites I thought I would be a fool to pass on the opportunity to learn from you, may you please accept this gift from me (give her anything at hand) and welcome me for a cup of tea" That way my character could at the same time seem freindly and not friable (since appartently he isnt lost).
