Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

“Expecting me, were you?” he mutters, lowering himself carefully onto the cushion. “Then you already know my story, or at least the parts that matter. But if you must hear it from my lips Name’s Haurire. I deal in goods and contracts steel or spice, depends who’s buyin’. Word was a town’s near here has got... opportunities. Though I didn’t figure id be expected in this dump.” he stares at the old woman for a minute then continues "so what do you think you know about me?" he grunts
