    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I avoid powergaming by ignoring the unrealistic action and continuing with the story. If the player keeps on powergaming, i end the interaction and walk away.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Metagaming i believe disrupts fair roleplay because it ruins the mystery and the building up to the climax in the story.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"You've been expecting me? I didn't think I was that well known... My  story? Well, I left home at age 19 and I've been traveling ever since. I'm trying to find a home that suits my wants and needs. If you want to know more of my backstory, you'll have to get to know me before I say anything more."
