You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Trusting Rasha's word, I sit in the cushion. I've traveled for the good part of this day, so it's nice to take a rest and lower my guard. Traveling on foot through a swamp is no easy task for a dwarf carrying such a heavy bag.
I take a small breath.
 

"I see that Rasha's letter reached you, oh wise witch of the swamps."

She looks at me, maybe dissapointed that I didn't anwser her question yet.

"I'm Hulrigg, from the Steelbeard Clan, the proud heir of the mines of Imbantointh. I seek your help, for my people had been enslaved by the ferocious orcs that go by the name 'The Red Fangs'."

The witch rises an eyebrow. She seems to be familiar with these savages.

"This barbaric horde has besieged our mine for years until my brave father, Helrigg, took charge against them. When we marched out of the mine to face their forces, we found nothing, only snow, and an abandoned camp. Shortly after, the sun was covered by a rain of arrows that killed almost everyone. The floor shook as rocks fell from the mountain, trapping me under the snow."

As I tell her about the downfall of my clan, I can see her shake her head, she knew this story. Rasha was right, she knows what I'm after.

"I survived thanks to my uncle, Gilgeas, who took me to his farm outside the mine and trained me in combat. He also taught me about "the outside world" and its people, and how to travel and survive in the wild. In my travels seeking strength, I met your old aquantice, Rasha, the hunter of Vidos. She told me to meet you, that you could guide me into the ruins of Hug Darul. I don't have gold, but I can provide you with any service you see fit for your help. "
