Born by one of the richest merchant families in New Reza, X spent his first years in comfort and security. When he was 18, his older brother, who wanted to prevent him to get his part of inheritance, made their father and the community believe that X had been spelled by a famous sorcerer and that he would cause the decline of the family. Therefore, X was kicked out of his family and banished from his city.
He settled in the snowy wood in the North of Arcas, where he met Nicketon, a woodman that had become an outlaw after he cut down some trees in the royal forest. They lived together as bandits for ten years, attacking and robbing the travellers that went through the jungle. At the age of 28, Nicketon was killed during an ambush made to a carriage that transported his brother's goods. So, X decided that it was time to take revenge on his brother. He created a new identity and came back to the civil world. He took the name of Fridrik Humbleshade and, unrecognized by everyone, he headed to New Reza. On the very last day of his journey, he stopped on the banks of the lake between Haense and Adria, where he met Nagasena, who would change his entire life…
Fridrik lifts his head looking careful and not showing to recognize the gentleman. "I am a traveller. I have to find a place to spend the night." he says hastily, trying to avoid to start a conversation with the gentleman.
