How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the term used when you use Out of Lore information in lore. For example: If i said I knew what someone was or their name because I read the OOC chat. It is bannable on many servers and games.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power gaming is what it is called when you are what some call "god modding". For example: "Nataelyn would strike at the opponents chest, cutting through the heart". When in fact you need to give the other person a choice and time to respond.
