I look the man up and down, observing his stature and wide smile. I look down at the map I have clutched in my hand, then back up at him. "I'm just.. looking for someone. No grand aspirations or... society." I say carefully, hoping that sentence came out as coherently as it was in my head. When the gentleman didn't respond immediately, I took that as my chance to escape, pretending to have had something catch my attention. That wasn't hard. Everything here was so bright and loud, with so many people and creatures filling the streets and walkways between the bustling stalls and shops. Pushing through the crowd, I could faintly hear the well-dressed man calling out behind me, but I was long gone, lost in the overwhelming crowd.

Before I can whitelist you, the following changes need to be made to your application:

  • Your Character Biography is really good! However you have only mentioned one lore reference (Elvenesse), and the application standards require two different references. I'd suggest looking on the Wiki at some lore regarding elven culture, events and/or beliefs, and including something from here. If you need, I can put you in contact with the elvenesse community to help out :)
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response just needs a few small tweaks. On LOTC, we roleplay in third person - using emotes and speech in that point of view. Be careful with divulging inner thought within your emote, as it is typical to only describe words and actions - what the other players may see your character doing and/or saying, rather than their inner thoughts. Here's an example scenario response I've written to the prompt supplied in the application:
    • Mary stepped off the boat, eagerly eyeing the world around her. She walked through the bustling markets, carefully manoeuvring in order to avoid the gaze of those merchants about. When the gentleman would approach her, she offered a timid smile in return. "I suppose - well, I suppose I'm not sure. Adventure calls me, and something inside of me prompted me to board that boat, and wind up here." She spoke earnestly.
