    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I avoid powergaming by roleplaying realistically, not forcing actions on other characters, and accepting consequences. I focus on cooperation and fair storytelling instead of giving my character unrealistic abilities or guaranteed wins.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay by breaking immersion and giving players unfair advantages through out-of-character knowledge. It removes realism and consequences, which hurts storytelling and the overall experience for everyone involved.

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

  • Please make sure to include at least six sentences in your roleplay scenario! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about your parents? Etc.
  • Please ensure your character’s actions are in 3rd person.
  • It looks like you left the original prompt, please make sure to put your own story down and remove the example text! If you’re stumped on what to add. I recommend saying where you are from, how was it growing up? Maybe talk about parents? Ect.
  • Please remember to include backstory in the Back story & Roleplay Scenario! Even if your character doesn’t talk about it.
  • Unfortunately, you cannot apply with a mask covering your character’s face on your Minecraft skin. This is to ensure you’re aware of the rules, that the race you chose is appropriate, and that your skin matches your physical description. Once you’re accepted onto the server, you can use your masked skin. If you need help adding a face to your skin, please contact me or another community member, or you can do it yourself.
