    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: One way to avoid Powergaming is just saying no unfortunately people still do it. You can also just stop interacting with them so you don't have to deal with it.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: If someone is out of Character it can interrupt roleplaying and make people uncomfortable.

Character Name: Viola Themblerit
Character Race: Wood Elf
Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 19
Physical Description: She is quite pale with green eyes and dirty blond hair. She's 5.5 she usually wears adventuring clothes in green shades.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I look at the old woman with curiosity "...well how have you been expecting me are you a seer...?" I shake my head slightly before she can respond "Never mind that I'm Viola" I take a seat on the cushion "I come from the far lands up north I'm an adventurer...I am apart of the Themblerit family...we are known quite well for our nature magic though I don't have any..." I sigh before continuing "I left the north to find a point in life since I've always been the black sheep in my family for...not having magic...but that's enough about me tell me about yourself" I say smiling
