    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: To avoid powergaming, I always describe my character’s actions as attempts, not facts. For example, instead of saying “I stab you in the chest,” I would say “He swings his blade toward the man’s chest.” This way, the other player can decide how their character responds. I also make sure my character has realistic limits and flaws.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a player uses out-of-character information to influence their in-character actions. For example, if I saw someone’s name above their head or read something in Discord, and then had my character act on that knowledge, that would be metagaming. It disrupts fair roleplay because it breaks immersion and gives some players unfair advantages. To avoid it, I keep my character’s knowledge separate from my own and only use information my character could realistically know in the world.

Physical Description: lean man of about 1.70 meters, with dark hair and nearly black eyes. His skin is lightly tanned — leather tunic and a quiver resting on his back.
Roleplay Scenario:

The man hesitates for a moment, lowering his hood. His dark eyes glint in the candlelight as he studies the hag. “You’ve been expecting me, then,” he says quietly, his voice rough from travel. “My story isn’t much — just a wanderer chasing the sound of distant forests and the promise of coin. But if fate truly led me here, perhaps it’s time I listen.” He sits, resting his bow beside him.
