Suliin looks at the man, slightly surprised by his sudden appearance. He replies, “I would like to explore the city, see some people, meet old friends, make new ones, and move up in society.”  He isn’t very charmed by the man, no. In fact, the man makes Suliin suspicious, because of his approaching random visitors to the city and confronting them.
