    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: The character you are playing in game acts upon information which they obtained from outside the game/storyline. Ex: You are told something outside of the game and then your character knows all about it without moving or talking to anyone in game.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Your character acts as if they have otherworldly or divine power over other characters or players. Ex: Your character acts as if the are invincible or somehow wields near god like power out of nowhere without regard to the game or rules.

Rolim looks around at the well built city before him and all the different opportunities to take. He thinks of what secret deals or hidden items there may be waiting for him to return home with.  After mentally reminding himself that he can't spend everything he brought with him in one day, he mentally shakes his head and smiles as he looks down at his bag.  “Hello there.” Rolim says to the man, “I may have some intrigue in specific items or information towards them if you like.”
