    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: There are multiple examples of how to avoid powergaming, especially in combat. For example, when you attack someone, instead of saying something like "He punches Player square in the face, knocking him out instantly." you would say "He throws a punch toward Player's head, aiming to knock him out."
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using OOC knowledge that your character doesn't have to gain an unfair advantage, it can disrupt roleplay in many ways, my favorite example being that if you're trying to sneak into an enemy stronghold and silently kill one guard, the kingdom's entire army shouldn't show up immediately.

Physical Description: 5'9" (175 cm) tall, has black hair, pale, soft skin, and light blue eyes. He always wears coats due to always being cold.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

He hesitantly sits down, briefly looking at his surroundings before crossing his legs. "Expecting me?" He looks at her curiously. "Have we met before?"

  • Please change the hair color of your skin to reflect the description. I.e. White hair on skin turned to black.
