    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: i remember what my character is, and how he behaves.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: i put myself in my characters POV.

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Thank you for your kind welcome," you respond, settling onto the offered cushion. The flickering candlelight casts dancing shadows on the tent's worn fabric. "I'm just a wanderer, drawn by the intrigue of this dim town and the mysteries that linger in its swampy air. There's a certain allure to the unknown, and I felt compelled to explore what secrets this place might hold."
