    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is forcing an action onto another player. Example: John slices off Alexandra's arm. (In this example, John gives Alexandra no choice but to have a sliced off arm.)

Atlas Pimpernel was born in the year 1653 in the kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska (I’m having trouble finding towns in the kingdom, so I won’t specify a hometown until I can find more information) in the realm of Atlas, which she was presumably named after. She had amnesia during the early stage of her childhood, not remembering her family. Her earliest memory is waking up in a patch of flowers, being found, and being brought to a nearby orphanage. After searching her pockets, she discovered a small birth certificate. Her name, year of birth, and town of birth were stated, and the year of birth and town of birth were clearly stated, but her parents’ names were smudged. During her childhood Atlas was always a very quiet and observant girl since not many people spoke to her. She only replied to others to thank them or respond in witty, sarcastic remarks whenever she felt the need to defend day is to find a suitable town to settle down in and possibly create a name for herself.

 

Note: Sorry about replying so late, I had some traveling complications and couldn’t be on the Internet for the past day or so. I’ve made all the changes you’ve requested plus a few more I felt like making since I didn’t like a few parts of her backstory I implemented. I also don’t know how I screwed up the birth year so bad haha. I must’ve typed something wrong in my calculator. I dulled down the hair, but is it okay if I keep the dress? I’ll change it if need be. Physical Description: A fairly tall lady, standing at about 5'8 with an upright posture. Her hair is a rouge color, her eyes a light brown, and her skin a fair, pale color.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø  "Pimpernel" does not exist in LOTC lore, also be mindful that your character could not have been born in Axios, as it was abandoned over 26 years in roleplay, so it isn't possible. The current roleplay year is 1679, so your character's birthdate doesn't work with your character's age. With this, please make these changes and be sure to add a lore reference from our wiki, which could be a city name, world event, religion or similar from our LOTC lore.
