Backstory:
Born to a family of four, having a sister, Elara had a fairly happy childhood, living within the Holy Orenian Empire's capital. As a child, mainly from the ages of five to sixteen, she assisted her father inside a small, yet popular local tavern on the outskirts of the city. This meant that, at these ages, Elara only went to school part time, usually skipping it to assist her family in the tavern. They weren't poor, per say, but not rich. At the age of sixteen, her father gave her permission to go to School full time, an offer she took up until the age of eighteen where she dropped out. Despite the fact she didn't know much history or science, she knew math, cooking, and how to fight and handle weaponry, her father teaching her the first two, her mother teaching her the last two. Her mother was a adventurer in her youth, and ran a small fighting school within the tavern, which attracted families towards the establishment for food, and to teach their kids some self defense. This helped Elara become a fairly decent adventurer at the age of eighteen, but never really had a proper party due to her father requiring her help.
A few months after her eighteenth birthday, her father finally allowed her to leave home and go adventuring, which she did solo for the first year to test herself. After around a year of solo adventuring, the numerous near death experiences made Elara a little, well insane. Not insane in the sense she was crazy but.. in the sense that she was extremely kind but, in a scary way. Just don't get on her bad side, which is fairly hard to do. At the age of twenty, she joined a small adventuring party but, it didn't go well. There was a lot of fighting, a lot of arguing and she only managed to remain with one of her friends, who moved over to the other side of the Empire. Alone once again, Elara is searching for a new party and a new line of work.. and she really, really wants to become an assassin.

I CANNOT INCLUDE MUCH MORE! IT'LL BE IN THE BACKSTORY
The traveler has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
((How does your character respond? Please ensure your response is at least six sentences long, and uses at least two actions.))
Elara's gaze jolted over to the woman that called her name, stumbling backwards not in fear, but in surprise. Her finger made it's way over, pointing at herself, signaling to the woman, 'Me?'. When it was made clear that yes, in fact, she was talking about her, Elara walked over, tucking her small braided ponytail behind her chest. "..Well..-" She twiddled her fingers. "..I'm here for a quest..! A simple one, at that."
The woman responded with a question that surprised Elara. Could this.. hag really be the woman who contracted Elara? No.. no.. Or maybe it was. However, it didn't matter to her, Elara walking over to a small chair, planting herself down on it's frail, wooden form. She now looked over at the woman, listening in on her questions, planning to answer every single one of them. Before doing so, her hand reached for a cup of tea that the old woman poured for her, thanking her promptly, and taking a sip.
"..Well..- I'm Elara, I come from a sort of.. pub on the outskirts of Providence. It's not the biggest, but, it does brew a good beer I'll tell you that much." She chuckled. "..It's owned by my father." This was said with immense pride, she really did love her family. The second question was a bit deeper, as she took a moment to answer. "..Well..- What do I want to become..?" She sighed. "..I've always wanted to cook for the King, it's been a dream of mine because of, well, my upbringing.. but.. that's not realistic, at least for now." She shook her head, tucking a strand of her ginger hair behind her pale ear. "..I've also always wanted to be a knight! Not like, contracted by the king but.. in the mercenary sort of sense. I mean I love fighting and, what better way to show that with some contract work, eh?" She chuckled, setting the cup down. "..And, that's why I took this job. I understand you want me to capture some bandits, correct..? I should've replied to it once I got that quest of the board, I sent it via mail."
The old woman nodded, now inviting Elara to follow her, in which she did, as the two now marched over to a hill overlooking a bandit camp, Elara keeping her sword tucked to her side.
