    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: being too powerful

he was a part of a tribe that is now dead, while in the tribe he was the son of the shaman but didn’t learn any magic because at a young age his father died, he left the tribe when he was 18 winters old, wanders around the world, one day found a burned down elf village while he was searching the village he found a unconscious female elf under a fallen house, he pulled her out and brings her to his camp where she woke up a hour later wondering where she was looked up to find Oog staring at her, at first she’s scared, then realized that if he wanted her dead he’d probably would have killed her by now, so then she asked him where she was he said at his camp, she asked how he found her, he said he found the village looked around and found her unconscious, then Oog asked what happened to her village, she said they were attacked by rival elves, he then said well I’ll protect you and asked her name she said her name was elana golondil, she said thanks. So they lived together for about three years over time the feel in love, one day he asked her to marry him she said yes, but on that same day enemy elves came to their little house they built together and killed the elana. Oog came by later to find the home sacked and her dead, and found out who killed her because of the kind of wounds on her body. He swore to eradicate all elves because of that, and planned to after doing that to become a canonist.

Physical Description: a strong burly orc, with brown skin, red eyes, curly hair, and a scar on his left eye.
Roleplay Scenario:

Oog is in a human city he just left the tavern he was In when a gang of thugs come out of nowhere and ask him “oi give us your money filthy orc”. he says “no you filthy thugs”, So they attack him one of them try’s to get behind him, Oog see that and punch’s the thug in the gut and no nocks him out, another thug come from behind hitting Oog in the back of the head with a club,  Oog become a little dazed but soon recovers but before he could another thug hits him in the gut, Oog this spits blood because of that, so Oog is now angry the thugs don’t realize it but he has a sword, he unsheathes his sword and attacks, he swings at one of the thugs, killing that thug because the thug was a bit tired so that thug was killed, the other thugs ran off because they were scared now.

  • Please expand more on your character’s Backstory. It needs to be, at least, 10 sentences – make sure to use proper grammar and punctuation! 
  • For your definitions of Metagaming & Powergaming, please explain them further. 
  • When responding to the Roleplay Scenario, pretend you’re responding to someone’s roleplay, rather than telling a story. Make sure not to powergame! This can be done by having them speak, make gestures, etc. 
  • Please use Proper Grammar, spelling, and punctuation. If you use chrome, there’s a dandy plugin named ‘Grammarly’ that can assist you. There are also multiple sites that can grammar check your paragraphs!
  • Understand that orcs have a bloodlust, per their curse put upon them by the Daemon, Iblees – you must include a disadvantage/con in your Personality/Quirks section. Perhaps that can be one!
  • Make sure that your Character’s Minecraft Skin matches your character description – it seems your current skin has odd, black marks that denote odd wings/demonic scars (?), and has red skin rather than brown skin as you said ‘Oog’ has – along with yellow eyes instead of the red eyes mentioned.
