You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story."

"I am known as many things. You may call me Ophelia Nightshade, daughter of Queen Octavia Nightshade of the Cloudpoint Empire. Our homeland has been overrun and destroyed by barbarians. We were forced to flee. We started sailing towards the neighboring continent. A storm sank our ship, and we drifted ashore on this continent. We set off to find a village of some kind, but as we entered a forest, a small group of goblins attacked us. We were unarmed, and they killed my parents and kidnapped my sister. They took everything I had. I ran for what seemed like days, until I arrived here. How did you know I would be coming?"
You sit in silence for several minutes, before the old woman responds.
"That is not for you to know yet, Ophelia. You will find out in due time. For now, I hope we can offer you some hospitality."
"That would be much appreciated. Thank you."
