Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Yuan hesitated for a moment, which made sense, this was a stranger after all. The stench from the place was already making her dizzy so she definitely had to sit down before she pukes or something, might as well complain to the old lady about her recent adventures. Without a second thought she gracefully lowered her body onto the cushion and began mumbling. -Well... To be honest i had everything growing up. If i wanted a kite my father would stay up late to craft it. If i wanted expensive tea my mother would work more than she could handle... It was going so well until they wanted me to move out and start my own life. My mother insisted i should just marry the a man so i can settle for an easy life like i had before. But to be honest i don't really find the men in my area that attractive and it's not like i could just stay with my parents for the rest of my life so here i am, searching for a place where i can settle down." As she glanced the old lady and saw a slightly judgmental look her face turned a light shade of pink and began defending her childish choice to leave behind everything she knows.- "Hey don't give me that look! Yes, i was spoiled rotten but that doesn't mean i have to settle for less once my parents don't treat me like porcelain!
